Calling children of all ages! The Buzz has heard that dozens of tiny pigs are lost in Burlington and need your help getting to their final destination.

Rumor has it that GPS systems failed the little piggies on their way to the Big Pig Party, which will be happening on the Town Common on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

The piglets ended up scattered all over town and are said to be hiding in playgrounds, fields, and anywhere else children tend to gather. These smarty-pants piggies might even be found in some of Burlington's Little Free Libraries!

"Children of Burlington! These tiny pigs need you to find them and bring them to the Pigs on Parade Party. Their legs are simply too tiny for them to walk to the Common," says Burlington Sculpture Park Chair Barbara L'Heureux. "Please help these little piggies get to the party!"

The Pigs on Parade Big Pig Party will start at 10 am on June 22 on Burlington Common. Sixteen pig sculptures will be unveiled, and each one is a work of art! Find as many tiny lost piglets as you can between now and June 22, and then bring them to join in the fun! Together we can get every single piggie to the party!

The Burlington Sculpture Park is an arts project of the Town of Burlington, Massachusetts. The park is located on Center Street between the Grandview Farm and the Burlington Police Station. Pigs on Parade will be on display on the Town Common from June 22 through August and is meant to celebrate Burlington's historic pig farming industry while highlighting some of the modern industries that keep Burlington moving.
