Burlington Flu Clinic to Be Held in October
The Board of Health will be holding a flu clinic during the first week of October, Public Director Susan Lumenello said at the August 27 Board of Health meeting. The Department has already been receiving vaccines of both the regular and high-dose variety, and they expect for more to arrive at the end of September, just in time for the planned October 5 clinic. The Burlington Volunteer Reserve Corps (BVRC) administers Burlington's vaccine clinics.
Lumenello doesn't anticipate any difficulty going through the high-dose vaccines, saying a signup at the Council on Aging usually does the trick.
