The carnival on the Common and all-day outdoor party known as Celebrate Burlington 2024 is coming in just two short days, on August 3, and Burlington Buzz will be there to share in the fun. But we won't just be standing around all day! We'll have some great Burlington activities for you, as well—and, of course, the chance to win prizes.

Stop by the Burlington Buzz table for a peek at the Buzz Guide to Spring & Summer in Burlington, a free BINGO card you can use to explore our community and win prizes, and a trivia activity to see how much you know about Burlington history. All entries will be entered into a drawing for a Buzz gift basket. Spoiler alert: If you're a regular Buzz reader, you'll have a leg up on the competition!

One great way to build up your Burlington Historical knowledge is with a free trolley tour that will take you to various historical sites around Burlington. This 36-passenger vehicle will take participants on two guided trips around town, one leaving Town Hall at 11:00 AM and the other leaving at 2:00 PM. Passengers won't get off the tour, but your guide will tell you which sites will be open on Saturday, which you can visit at a later time, and which are privately owned.

Learn facts like who Francis Wyman was, where the town's original one-room schoolhouses used to be, and much more—and then come test your newfound knowledge with Buzz trivia. You can sign up for these tours at the Historical Commission's table.

When you're not being a history buff, enjoy entertainment, inflatables, and food trucks, and visit the other businesses, organizations, and non-profits that make this town special.

We'll see you there!

There will be a sensory-friendly event (pre-registration required) for those with disabilities and their companions on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00. Space is limited. Get more info and sign up here!
