Kyuramen, Ten One Tea Coming to Burlington
Two new Asian restaurants will open in Burlington in the near future, pending Board of Health approval.
Burlington's Planning Board has given the green light to two new restaurants featuring Asian flavors, approving special permits during its February meeting.
Kyuramen, a Japanese-style ramen restaurant, is set to open its third Massachusetts location at 1 Wheeler Road. The full-service restaurant will seat 80 customers in a newly built structure at the corner of Middlesex Turnpike and Wheeler Road, right next to the highway where residents might remember Tweeter, Ski Haus, and GOLFTEC being prior to the parcel's redevelopment.
Ten One Tea House also received approval to open their premium milk & bubble tea shop in the Burlington Mall. This takeout-only store will be located on the first floor, next to Dunkin' Donuts and Cho Cho, another Asian restaurant focused on hot pots.
Both restaurants will have to go before the Board of Health prior to opening
These are just a few of the restaurants that have opened recently in Burlington. Eggholic, which opened a year ago on Wall Street, continues serving authentic Indian street food; Yas Chicken keeps delivering extra crispy chicken on Middlesex Turnpike; Greco, which is situated between Common Craft and Fogo de Chão at the mall, opened in June; and Fiorella's opened their Burlington Mall location last September.
Burlington is a robust restaurant community, and there will surely be more innovative spots opening in the coming months.
